Indigenous Cultural Connections:

Kambu Amaroo Kindergarten Program believe that connecting children with their cultural roots is essential for their identity development and overall well-being. We provide opportunities for children to engage with local Indigenous communities, Elders, and cultural experts, who share their stories, traditions, and knowledge with the children. Through dance, art, storytelling, and music, we help children develop a deep appreciation for Indigenous cultures.

Language and Communication:

We recognize the importance of language as a vehicle for cultural expression and connection. Our educators are committed to incorporating Indigenous languages and promoting language revitalization efforts. We encourage children to explore their mother tongue and provide resources and support for families to maintain and develop their language skills.

Community Engagement:

We believe that strong partnerships with families and the broader community are crucial for a child's learning journey. We actively engage parents and caregivers in their child's education, involving them in decision-making processes and fostering a collaborative approach. We also seek community input and involvement to create a shared sense of ownership and pride in our kindergarten.

We value strong connections with families and the wider community. We encourage parental involvement and promote community engagement, creating a supportive network for children and their parents, carers, and extended families.
