C&K’s Innovation in Curriculum Conference Series 2020
As we move into a new decade, it is timely for us to reflect on the role of early childhood curriculum and how children of the 2020’s and beyond will navigate their everchanging the world. C&K’s Innovation in Curriculum Conference Series explores how our curriculum and pedagogical practice can inspire children to be powerful learners, thinkers and theorisers, and active citizens. Each session at this conference examines how innovation in our curriculum thinking can help us to provide the most responsive and relevant learning for children of the 21st century.
Our morning keynote speakers, Kate Highfield and Catharine Hydon, will invite you to think about how our curriculum decision making takes account of the world in which children grow. How do we capitalise on the importance of play while ensuring that our curriculum is rich, challenging and inspiring? Our workshop sessions will focus on innovation in practice and offer new ways of thinking about children’s learning. The afternoon plenary sessions will be a treat for teachers and educators and consider how we can best nourish our teams to ensure that the joy of working with young children is celebrated.
