Providing high standards of early childhood education and care together.
Across two inspiring days from 25-26 July 2025, more than 765 early childhood education and care professionals across the nation came together for the 2025 C&K Conference, presented by Winc Education. With Joy as the theme, the weekend brought together learning, inspiration, and celebration – from Directors’ Day and the MTA C&K Gala Awards to a full day of conference keynotes, workshops, and showcases.
Directors’ Day saw leaders focus on C&K’s Education Strategy, Centre Leadership Framework, and Child Protection and Safeguarding, with a keynote from Professor Benoit Leclerc on child safety. The Gala Awards followed, recognising educators and teams whose creativity and innovation bring joy to their communities.
Conference Day featured over 590 attendees who explored “joy in practice” through keynotes from Catharine Hydon, Trevor Fourmile, Clare Bowditch, Professor Julie Dunn, and Aunty Sharron mirii Bell, alongside educator-led workshops and a vibrant exhibitor tradeshow.
Reflecting on the event, Acting CEO Dr Suzy Tamone said: “The 2025 C&K Conference was a wonderful opportunity to connect, refill our cups and prepare to dive deeper into Terms 3 and 4 with renewed confidence and capability. To see joy brought to life so spectacularly certainly made the event a memorable one.”
And the journey continues – in 2026, we’ll return with Joy in Action. Save the date: Saturday, 25 July 2026!
