The C&K College of Early Childhood is a Registered Training Organisation offering both the Certificate III and Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care.
We also offer The Early Childhood Teacher Bridging Program for Registered primary school teachers who are seeking a career change to the Early Childhood sector and specialist Skill Sets for existing early childhood professionals who want to expand and/or refresh their skills and qualifications.
What we do well is provide students with direct experience through high quality vocational placement in C&K services and links to employment opportunities. C&K workplace supervisors and mentors provide hands-on learning support as you progress through your studies.
The Creche and Kindergarten Association is also able to offer both Traineeship and Apprenticeship pathways through the C&K College of Early Childhood. Please refer to C&K Careers and discover the benefits of belonging to the C&K family. It’s why so many of our employees come for a job, but stay for a career—because C&K is a place where you can feel at home.
Our courses incorporate a number of early childhood education and care sector up-to-date and respected professional development (PD) activities. These PD activities deliver a deeper understanding of what it means to be an early childhood professional, along with a greater appreciation of the implications and impacts of your work. Carefully selected PD opens you up to new possibilities, new knowledge and new skill areas. Our assessment process will confirm your capability and confidence to apply new learning correctly while on placement or at work.
Graduates of the C&K College of Early Childhood Diploma course have a pathway to gain access to university and receive one year of credit for prior learning through the established relationships and/or articulation arrangements in place with a number of universities.
Our Student Services Advisor and our Trainers and Assessors are committed to making your study experience with us enjoyable and interesting.
There are multiple delivery options for our courses, so you may choose to study in a way that suits your lifestyle. If you are not sure what is right for you, give us a call.
In addition, if you’re a C&K employee, you’ll be able to take advantage of our subsidised training for full-time and part-time staff, meaning you can work and learn with the support of our organisation.
The C&K College of Early Childhood provides quality training in regional and remote areas of Queensland and can develop a tailored and individualised blended learning program for a service and/or a cohort of students.
