Fees
C&K College requires you to complete mandated National Child Safety Training and provide a certificate of completion prior to enrolment being activated.
The Education and Care Services National Law (Section 162B) requires all individuals working or volunteering in a regulated children’s education and care service to complete mandated National Child Safety Training.
This free training is separate from the units of competency within this qualification, and can be accessed through Geccko.

C&K is a child-safe organisation. Prior to enrolment being activated, applicants are required to hold a valid Working with Children Check. In Queensland, the Working with Children Check is known as a Blue Card.
C&K College of Early Childhood is not registered on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS). Therefore, the College is unable to enrol applicants who hold a subclass 485 or subclass 500 student visa.

Students will be allocated a qualified RTO Educator. All our RTO Educators are experienced early childhood professionals who understand the complexities of working in Early Childhood Education and Care.

The Diploma of Early Childhood education and care is the minimum qualification required to work as a lead educator in a regulated early childhood education and care settings in Australia. A Diploma qualification in early childhood provides career opportunities beyond working directly with children, including leadership, management, and support roles.

The units are designed to support your learning through a range of:
Students enrolled in CHC50125 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care must complete at least 280 hours of placement in a regulated children’s education and care service in Australia. Placement allows students to put their learning into practice. The total number of hours is applied collectively across all units of competency.
Students who are working as an educator in a regulated early childhood education and care setting may undertake placement as paid work, with the permission of their employer.
Students not working in the sector undertake placement as a volunteer. C&K College will find these students a placement site.
Under the Fair Work Act 2009, placement hours are legally permitted to be unpaid as they are an authorised requirement of an approved educational course. Students in paid employment as an Educator may be able to use their employed hours to accumulate placement hours.
C&K College is proud to be a Skills Assure Supplier (Queensland Government subsidised training provider) for eligible students.
These are the total co-contribution fees for each government-funded program. They are the total you will pay for training, assessment and your qualification if eligible for Career Boost.

All payments are to be made to C&K College of Early Childhood; a variety of payment options are available.
Fees are invoiced at the beginning of each study period, based on the number of units issued.
Fees are payable upfront or by an acceptable payment schedule as outlined in our Student Guide (weekly, fortnightly or monthly payments) in our secure payment portal.
This structure allows students to spread the cost of their training across the duration of the course, making it more manageable.
The Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care prepares individuals for leadership roles in early childhood services, emphasising advocacy for children's rights, strong relationships, effective workplace processes, and inclusive, respectful, and responsive cultures.
This qualification offers career opportunities beyond direct child interaction, including leadership, management, and support roles. The course covers supporting children's health, learning, and development; designing, planning, implementing, and evaluating educational programs; collaborating with families, communities, and external agencies; providing leadership and support to staff; and managing compliance with policies and legislation.
