Free Kindy at C&K

We are proudly supported by the Queensland Government's kindergarten funding program to deliver our government-approved kindergarten program.

How free kindy
works at C&K

Kindy is FREE for eligible age children (those turning 4 by 30 June, in the year they attend kindy) for 15 hours per week for 40 weeks (up to a maximum of 600 hours a year).

If your child is attending kindy in a second group or as a three year old, fees may apply (known as the non-eligible fee). These fees are different for each kindy and are available to view on the kindy's web page. The non-eligble fee is updated every year in December for the following year.

Does Free Kindy apply in childcare?

Yes! If your eligible-age (turning 4 by 30 June 2025) child is enrolled in a C&K childcare centre where they participate in a government-approved kindergarten program, you will be eligible to receive 15 hours per week of free kindy for 40 weeks per year (up to a maximum 600 hours per year).
