Welcome to C&K Yarraman & District Community Kindergarten
The first five years of a child’s life are vital in helping form who they will be as adults. C&K knows and understands this very well having played a part in the lives of more than a million children over the past century in Queensland.
We are a high-quality provider of early education and care and we are thrilled that you are considering C&K for your child. We also run a playgroup every Friday, from 9:00AM to 11:00AM.

Biggenden & District Kindergarten
The Biggenden & District Kindergarten & Daycare is a community based not-for-profit organisation. We operate a Kindergarten program on Tuesdays, Thursdays and alternate Wednesdays and a day care program which is offered each Monday and Friday. At Biggenden & District Kindergarten, we have one kindy group. All groups ensure children receive the same number of hours of education across the year. The groups have a maximum of 22 children and are led by an experienced and qualified early childhood teacher. We operate during QLD school terms and are closed for school holidays, public holidays and some pupil free days.
Biggenden & District Kindergarten offers a subsidised pre-kindy program for three-year-olds in term 4, 2024. To be eligible for this program, children need to have turned three by 30 June 2024.Your three-year-old child can attend Biggenden & District kindy's high-quality community kindergarten program alongside four-year-olds. Mareeba Community Kindergarten (Sutherland Street)
Welcome to Mareeba Community Kindergarten on Sutherland Street. We opened in 2013 at Sutherland Street on the Mareeba State Primary School site.
The Sutherland Street Centre adopts Listening and Learning Together: The C&K Curriculum Approach. The learning outcomes in our approach align with both The Early Years Learning Framework for Australia (EYLF), and the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline (QKLG).
As we are on the Mareeba State Primary School site, we have the opportunity to participate and enjoy activities within the school such as sports days, NAIDOC week and Under 8's Day celebrations.
We have 2 program groups to choose from, so you can enrol your child in a group that best meets your family's needs.

Mareeba Community Kindergarten (Stewart Street)

C&K Hughenden Kindergarten and Early Childhood Centre is a small rural community centre, four hours drive west of Townsville. We welcome children from 6 weeks of age to 5 years old and provide care and early learning five days a week.
C&K childcare centres offer quality education and care programs where we focus on a unique infant and toddler approach, as well as delivering a 5 day fortnight kindergarten program for 4 year olds. Our kindy program is guided by a university qualified teacher and supports children to be curious, capable, and collaborative learners in the year before school.
As a home away from home, our environment provides feelings of being safe, secure and supported while in the care of our qualified educators. At C&K we support our team to nurture play-based learning, develop caring relationships with children and our families, and foster a lifelong love of learning with every child in our care.
Gunalda & District Kindergarten
Welcome to Gunalda and District Kindergarten, a place where play takes centre stage in your child’s education and where children are given time to explore, discover and learn.
Our passionate teachers and teaching assistants are highly qualified and experienced. They are experts in teaching children aged 3 to 5 and help them develop a love of lifelong learning.
Our learning spaces and expansive outdoor play areas are designed to nurture children’s development in a caring community environment. Children have the stability of the same teaching staff attending Kindy every day of their attendance. This allows us to offer continuity and extension of learning for each child, from one day to the next.
Our mission at Gunalda and District Kindergarten is to provide children with a play-enriched environment and build partnerships with families and the community. We strive for high quality early childhood education and care where we support children to become lifelong learners.

Deadly Kindy Gundoo Mirra
Deadly Kindy Gundoo Mirra is a kindergarten for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander kids. Our kindys promote community, family, play and culture. Our playground is an important part of our curriculum. Your children will have the benefit of beautiful playground and natural setting which has been designed to enhance children’s gross motor development. The children observe the lizards that wander into the yard. They learn about the bush tucker garden and participate in gardening experiences throughout the year. They use the seedpods from the trees to count and for craft. The playground has quiet areas for resting and relaxing and active areas for ball games, climbing, sand play, obstacle courses, swings and much more. We also have a yarning circle where the kids love to meet to tell stories and read books.

Deadly Kindy Burragah
Welcome to Deadly Kindy Burragah! This Deadly Kindy is supported by the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Services (ATSICHS). ATSICHS is one of the largest Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations in Queensland, and the second oldest community controlled organisation in Australia, established in 1973. ATSICHS aims to focus on increasing the attendance rates of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children in kindergarten through respectful partnerships and quality community engagement.
To compliment the desire for quality outcomes for children, ATSICHS also provides a suite of allied health and child health services available through their clinics to you and your child while attending the service, including dental clinics, audiology, occupational therapy, child psychology, speech pathology, and dieticians.

Dalby Daycare Centre & Stuart Street Kindergarten
Welcome to Stuart Street Kindergarten. Stuart Street Kindergarten is a community owned centre, which was established in 1972. We offer 2 five-day fortnight programs. One group attends every Monday, Tuesday and alternating Wednesday. The other group attends every Thursday/Friday and alternating Wednesday. Hours are from 8:45-2:45 daily and office hours after 2:45pm. Stuart Street Kindergarten runs during school terms. Under the National Quality Framework, our centre was rated as "EXCEEDING" the National Quality Standard. Our centre has a stimulating indoor and outdoor environment that offer a range of opportunities for children to learn through play.
