The first five years of a child’s life are vital in helping form who they will be as adults. C&K knows and understands this very well having played a part in the lives of more than a million children over the past century in Queensland.

We are a high-quality provider of early education and care and we are thrilled that you are considering C&K for your child. We also run a playgroup every Friday, from 9:00AM to 11:00AM.

As an affiliated centre of C&K, Yarraman & District Community Kindergarten receives support from C&K as the Central Governing Body but operates as an independent incorporated association managed by a volunteer management committee. Centres affiliated with C&K receive comprehensive support in governance, including managing kindergarten and inclusion funding, training for committees and educators, advice and support regarding inclusion, use of the C&K brand, curriculum approach and resource materials.

Wandoan & District Kindergarten

Welcome to Wandoan and District Kindergarten. A place where play takes centre stage in your child’s education and where children are given time to explore, discover and learn! Our passionate teachers and teaching assistants are highly qualified and experienced. They are experts in teaching children from three to five years and establish a love of life-long learning. Our purpose-built building and expansive outdoor play spaces are designed to nurture children’s development in a caring community environment. Children have the stability of the same teachers and the same children attending kindy every day of their attendance. This allows us to offer continuity and extension of learning for each child, from one day to the next. Our mission at Wandoan and District Kindergarten is to provide children with a play enriched environment and build partnerships with families and the community. We strive for high quality early childhood education and care where we support children to become life-long learners.

At Wandoan and District Kindergarten, there are two kindy groups to choose from. Each group has a maximum of 22 children and are led by an experienced and qualified early childhood teacher. We operate during QLD school terms and are closed for school holidays, public holidays and some pupil free days.

Wandoan and District Kindergarten offers a subsidised pre-kindy program for three-year-olds in term 4, 2024. To be eligible for this program, children need to have turned three by 30 June 2024.

Your three-year-old child can attend Wandoan and District kindy's high-quality community kindergarten program alongside four-year-olds. Attending kindergarten provides learning opportunities for your child in a safe and nurturing environment, including building relationships with teachers and growing their confidence and social skills to engage with other children.

We offer a Government Approved Kindergarten Funded Program in a variety of flexible enrolment options, including a pre-kindergarten program and our unique Bush Kindy program within each of our kindy classes. Our passionate teachers and teaching assistants are highly qualified and experienced. They are experts in teaching children from three to five years and establish a love of life-long learning. Our purpose-built building and expansive outdoor play spaces are designed to nurture children’s development in a caring community environment. Children have the stability of the same teachers and the same children attending kindy every day of their attendance. Alongside free kindy, Taroom Kindergarten offers a FREE pre-kindy program for three-year-olds in term 4, 2024. To be eligible for this program, children need to have turned three by 30 June 2024. Welcome to Nanango & District Kindergarten, where we offer a unique kindergarten program where your child can feel at home. Our government-approved program is centred around a living and learning community that values children as competent and capable individuals. This play-based curriculum helps children to socialise, build confidence, and develop communication and early literacy and numeracy skills to ensure your child is school-ready.

Nanango Kindergarten was opened in 1963 as a non for profit community kindergarten, celebrating 60 wonderful years of service to our community in 2023. Our centre is known for its dedicated and friendly staff as well as beautiful indoor and outdoor learning spaces and gardens.

The groups have a maximum of 22 children and are led by an experienced and qualified early childhood teacher.
