Gordonvale Community Kindergarten - Cloned
Welcome to Gordonvale Community Kindergarten. The kindergarten was built by the community of Gordonvale and officially opened on 31st August, 1971. Our goal at kindy is to learn through play. We promote a child-initiated, child-directed, and adult-supported play-based program. We offer a safe, secure and fun environment for your child to play, grow and learn.
At Gordonvale Kindy, we believe a positive and open relationship with families is vital in providing a positive experience for your child; therefore, we will work together with families to provide an environment in which your child will feel comfortable and safe.
We provide a place of learning and care where your child has access to active, play-based learning and developmentally appropriate resources. We have a strong emphasis on children engaging with the environment and being able to exercise choices that match their interests and capabilities.
At Gordonvale Community Kindergarten, we have 2 kindy groups to choose from, so you can enrol your child in a group that best meets your family's needs.
As an affiliated centre of C&K, Gordonvale Community Kindergarten receives support from C&K as the Central Governing Body but operates as an independent incorporated association managed by a volunteer management committee. Centres affiliated with C&K receive comprehensive support in governance, including managing kindergarten and inclusion funding, training for committees and educators, advice and support regarding inclusion, use of the C&K brand, curriculum approach and resource materials.
