Why choose a C&K childcare centre or kindergarten?
C&K has cared and educated for over one million children since we were established in 1907. We have over 330 kindys and childcares around Queensland, and as a not-for-profit, children come first in everything we do.
Our education program
C&K’s early childhood curriculum approach is used for children from birth to 5 in all our kindys and childcares. In the year before school, university-qualified teachers guide and support children to be curious, capable and collaborative learners.
Our Infant and Toddler approach guides how we educate and care for our infants and toddlers. Our philosophy for this age is to slow down and be with your child as they are encouraged to explore the world.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
C&K recognises and respects the traditional custodians of Australia. We embrace and celebrate the diversity of children, families and communities across Queensland. We take the time to get to know you and your child, and provide places and spaces where everyone belongs.
Our Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan considers Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander ways of being and knowing to deliver reconciliation outcomes for children, families, communities, workforce and students.
