Kindergarten program details
At Little Country Kids Club, we have one kindy group. Our kindy group ensures children receive the same number of hours of education across the year. The group has a maximum of 22 children and is led by an experienced and qualified early childhood teacher. We operate during QLD school terms and are closed for school holidays, public holidays and some pupil free days.
- Group 1A: Monday, Tuesday and alternate Fridays, 8:45am to 2:45pm
Free Pre-kindy Program
Little Country Kids Club offers a subsidised pre-kindy program for three-year-olds in terms 3 and 4, 2024. To be eligible for this program, children need to have turned three by 30 June 2024.
Your three-year-old child can attend Little Country Kids Club's high-quality community kindergarten program alongside four-year-olds. Attending kindergarten provides learning opportunities for your child in a safe and nurturing environment, including building relationships with teachers and growing their confidence and social skills to engage with other children.

About our kindy
Welcome to the Little Country Kids Club (LCKC), Cecil Plains. A place where play takes centre stage in your child’s education and where children are given time to explore, discover and learn! LCKC is a non-profit community based Limited Hours Care and Kindergarten Service (on the same day) located half an hour from Dalby, 40 minutes from Pittsworth and Millmerran and an hour west of Toowoomba. We believe in the intrinsic and unique abilities of each child, the significant importance of families as a child’s first teacher and role of the community in the growth and development of each and every being.
C&K Affiliated Centre
As an affiliated centre of C&K, Little Country Kids Club receives support from C&K as the Central Governing Body but operates as an independent incorporated association, managed by a volunteer management committee. Centres affiliated with C&K receive comprehensive support in governance including managing kindergarten and inclusion funding, training for committees and educators, advice, and support regarding inclusion, use of the C&K brand, curriculum approach and resource materials.
Child-Led Learning
No two days are the same at Little Country Kids Club. Our teaching team tailor each day’s learning taking into account the interests of the children in the group. The spacious environment at our kindy is thoughtfully planned and well resourced. There is a focus on music, drama, literature and visual arts and time spent discovering the natural environment outdoors.
Community Spirit
Community spirit is important to us at Little Country Kids Club. We foster our strong ties to the local community by encouraging parent input and involvement in the daily operations of the kindergarten and programming decisions. We often hold and partake in community events and love connecting with local businesses and groups around us.
