C&K Bundaberg South Community Kindergarten
At C&K Bundaberg South Community Kindergarten, your child will feel safe, make friends and belong. We have an open natural learning environment where the children explore, investigate, and extend their learning.
Our experienced and passionate educators foster close relationships with families, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive environment. They focus on nurturing your child's curiosity, building their resilience and developing their confidence - all through the joy of learning through play.
At C&K Bundaberg South, we have one kindy group. The group ensures children receive the same number of hours of education across the year. The group has a maximum of 22 children and are led by an experienced and qualified early childhood teacher. We operate during QLD school terms and are closed for school holidays, public holidays and some pupil free days.
C&K Bundaberg South is located south of the centre of Bundaberg on Flint Street and next to Bundaberg Surf Life Saving Club.
C&K Bluewater Community Kindergarten
At C&K Bluewater Community Kindergarten, your child will feel safe, make friends and belong. We have an open natural learning environment where the children explore, investigate, and extend their learning.
At C&K Bluewater we have two kindy groups to choose from. All groups ensure children receive the same number of hours of education across the year. The groups have a maximum of 22 children and are led by an experienced and qualified early childhood teacher. We operate during QLD school terms and are closed for school holidays, public holidays and some pupil free days.
C&K Bluewater Community Kindergarten offers a subsidised pre-kindy program for three-year-olds in terms 3 and 4, 2024. To be eligible for this program, children need to have turned three by 30 June 2024.Your three-year-old child can attend C&K Bluewater's high-quality community kindergarten program alongside four-year-olds. Attending kindergarten provides learning opportunities for your child in a safe and nurturing environment, including building relationships with teachers and growing their confidence and social skills to engage with other children.
C&K Bluewater is located in Bluewater in North Queensland just 30 minutes drive north of Townsville city centre. The kindergarten is situated on the Bluewater State School site, in a lovely bushland setting on Buckby Street.

Educators promote sustainable initiatives by recycling, water conservation through the use of water tanks, worm farm, green wall and bush tucker gardens to connect children and families to the environment.
Our centre has a combination of both age-based rooms and communal learning spaces where siblings and children of all ages can come together to learn and play. The large outdoor area is designed to take advantage of the natural environment and encourages children to explore, discover, play, and engage in nature.

Our centre reflects the C&K philosophy of inclusiveness, and our spaces have been designed to promote competence, independent exploration and nature-based play.
