Rosewood & District Community Kindergarten
At Rosewood and District Community Kindergarten, we believe that early childhood is a critical learning period in children’s lives and that play is the essential learning vehicle to explore, problem solve, develop friendships, imagine and extend capabilities. We recognise that this is best achieved in a natural environment supported by parents, educators and our local community.
The Rosewood and District Community Kindergarten has proudly stood on the site of 54 John Street since its opening in 1963. Early in the 1950’s, Rosewood Shire Council became amalgamated with Moreton Shire Council.
At Rosewood and District Community Kindergarten, we have 2 kindy groups to choose from, so you can enrol your child in a group that best meets your family's needs.
As an affiliated centre of C&K, Rosewood and District Community Kindergarten receives support from C&K as the Central Governing Body but operates as an independent incorporated association managed by a volunteer management committee. Centres affiliated with C&K receive comprehensive support in governance, including managing kindergarten and inclusion funding, training for committees and educators, advice and support regarding inclusion, use of the C&K brand, curriculum approach and resource materials.

Raceview Congregational Preschool & Kindergarten
Welcome to Raceview Congregational Kindergarten. The Kindergarten is part of the Raceview Congregational Church which has been serving the Raceview and Ipswich community for over a 150 years. As a community Kindergarten it has its own operations committee which includes members of staff and members of Kindy families. As part of the church community, however, our Kindy families also have access to various support networks and other children and family activities.
The Kindy operates within the core values of the church in that we aim to ensure that every child and Kindy family will feel safe, cared for, loved, valued, nurtured and supported while a part of the Kindy community.

Karalee Community Kindergarten
Welcome to Karalee Community Kindergarten. Karalee Community Kindergarten began in 1992, working out of the Community Hall next door as families in the community worked together to get our kindy its own home. In March 1998, we moved into our current building and have spent the following years adding to our beautiful kindergarten.
Our kindy believes strongly in the uniqueness of each family and each child. We encourage parents to work together with teachers to ensure that the kindergarten program provides opportunities for children to extend their existing knowledge and skills and develop attributes such as perseverance, resilience and curiosity that are critical to learning.
Children are encouraged to be active participants in our program. We value their ideas and enable them to take ownership of their learning. We interact purposely with the children, offering support and guidance when required. We also aim to help children to expand their thinking, challenge themselves and extend their interests by introducing them to other interests and encouraging them to explore other alternatives and possibilities. Children will have the opportunity to make choices, develop their own ideas and work at their own pace. Teachers will be responsive to their ideas and initiatives, allowing time and space for exploration and research. They will establish warm and affectionate bonds and attachments with children, by being available, accessible and approachable.
At Karalee Community Kindergarten, we offer a 2-day week or 5-day fortnight kindergarten program.

Church Street Kindergarten & Preschool
Church Street Kindergarten was established in 1958 as Wacol Army Village Kindergarten and serviced Wacol, Camira, Darra and the Centenary Suburbs. After the sale of the Army Village in 1987, the kindergarten relocated to Goodna for the Commencement of the 1988 school year. The kindergarten is situated in a suburban environment amongst houses. This is a less daunting first step into an educational facility, with only 22 children in attendance unlike hundreds of other children in a school environment. The building is orientated towards a large tree-covered grassy playground with an emphasis on natural materials such as timber and bark. We would love to invite you to see what a regular day at our kindy looks like. Families are welcome anytime and can drop in whenever suits them.
Church Street Kindergarten provides all of the Library, Music & Movement and Language activities available at schools. The centre has extensive indoor and outdoor play equipment and resources which have been purchased and maintained over many years through parent fundraising efforts. We value all of our past and present families as being part of our Church Street Community. Church Street Kindergarten has a long history of stable and consistent Staff members. Many of our past students return with their own children.
At Church Street Kindergarten, we have two kindy groups to choose from. All groups ensure children receive the same number of hours of education across the year. The groups have a maximum of 22 children and are led by an experienced and qualified early childhood teacher. We operate during QLD school terms and are closed for school holidays, public holidays and some pupil free days.

Camira Kindergarten
We have friendly, qualified teachers and assistants who welcome the families each day and encourage parent participation and involvement in whatever capacity parents can give.
We offer beautiful natural play spaces for children to explore and create their imaginative play - sand pit, mud patch, bushland, real grass and really large established trees. Our indoor environment is so homely, attractive and welcoming, that some people think our building is a converted house.
