Welcome to Maclagan Windermere Community Kindergarten. A place where play takes centre stage in your child’s education and where children are given time to explore, discover and learn! Maclagan Windermere Kindergarten was founded in 1970 as a non-profit community educational centre. The Kindergarten premises are kindly donated by the late Mr James Monaghan whose overwhelming generosity of the use of the building.

Our centre is celebrated for its grounds and beautiful outdoor and indoor play areas. Spaces are designed to allow your child to explore, pretend, reflect, run and play - all the essentials for a happy childhood. Maclagan Windermere Kindergarten provides access to quality early education and care in a supportive community environment to children from Maclagan, Acland, Quinalow, Kaimkillenbun, Peranga, Kulpi, Cooyar, Evergreen and surrounding areas. Our qualified and dedicated professional staff work in partnership with parents in a caring, safe and inspiring environment to provide experiences that lay the foundations for life-long learning.

We are a one-program kindy offering free kindy for eligible age children.

As an affiliated centre of C&K, Maclagan Windermere Kindergarten receives support from C&K as the Central Governing Body but operates as an independent incorporated association managed by a volunteer management committee. Centres affiliated with C&K receive comprehensive support in governance, including managing kindergarten and inclusion funding, training for committees and educators, advice and support regarding inclusion, use of the C&K brand, curriculum approach and resource materials.

Little Miracles Community Kindergarten was first established in response to the needs of the families from Our Lady of Lourdes Parish and other families in the community. A committee formed in 2006 and commenced the huge task of opening a brand new kindergarten. As a result, Little Miracles Community Kindergarten opened its doors in 2007.

Our passionate teachers and teaching assistants are highly qualified and experienced. They are experts in teaching children aged 3 to 5 and help them develop a love of lifelong learning.

Our learning spaces and expansive outdoor play areas are designed to nurture children’s development in a caring community environment. Children have the stability of the same teachers and the same children attending kindy every day of their attendance. This allows us to offer continuity and extension of learning for each child, from one day to the next.

Our mission at Little Miracles Community Kindergarten is to provide children with a play-enriched environment and build partnerships with families and the community. We strive for high quality early childhood education and care where we support children to become lifelong learners.

Little Country Kids Club

Little Country Kids Club

Welcome to the Little Country Kids Club, Cecil Plains. A place where play takes centre stage in your child’s education and where children are given time to explore, discover and learn.

Little Country Kids Club is a not-for-profit, community based limited hours care and kindergarten program run concurrently. We are located half an hour from Dalby and Millmerran, 40 minutes from Pittsworth and an hour west of Toowoomba. We believe in the intrinsic and unique abilities of each child, the significant importance of families as a child’s first teacher, and the role of the community in the growth and development of each and every being.

At Little Country Kids Club, we offer a 5 day fortnight kindergarten program during term time. Our program currently runs on Mondays, Tuesdays and alternate Fridays. We also offer limited hours care for children 2 1/2 years old. We operate during QLD school terms and are closed for school holidays, public holidays and some pupil free days.

Kulila Indigenous Kindergarten

Kulila Indigenous Kindergarten

Kulila Indigenous Kindergarten is a local Murri community business that is run by a community committee body. We have been on our current site since 2010, with over 25 years of service in the Toowoomba community.

Our philosophy is learning through culture. Children are placed at the very centre of their educational journey here at Kulila. We aim to provide high quality early childhood education and support services through a culturally appropriate setting and aim to give our kindy children a solid foundation for a successful future. We seek to provide an early childhood context and program that is based on the approved curriculums within our industry: Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines and the Early Years Learning Framework.

We aim to provide a context that welcomes, values and supports children, families, educators and the wider community of our kindy children. We provide a holistic approach to our whole program and centre management.

Kulila Indigenous Kindergarten offers a daily bus service. The bus operates 8am to 9am and 3.00pm to 4.00pm.

At Kulila Indigenous Kindergarten, we have 2 kindy groups to choose from, so you can enrol your child in a group that best meets your family's needs. Our enrolled kindy children receive the following:

  • Hat and water bottle
  • One Kulila shirt
  • One annual kindy group photo
  • Fruit snack daily
  • One graduation shirt
  • Four swimming lessons

Welcome to Kent Street Community Kindergarten. Established in 1963, Kent Street Community Kindergarten provides a nurturing, engaging and stimulating education and care environment. Our dedicated teaching professionals understand the importance of the early years and have the knowledge and experience to ensure each child reaches their full potential.

Kent Street Community Kindergarten takes great pride in the learning environment. We believe in the importance of providing a welcoming space that reflects and enriches the interests and identities of the children, families, educators and our community. We believe that our environment and the open ended materials on offer cater to varying learning capabilities, styles and interests. Our outdoor natural environment provides a natural space where children can explore, imagine, construct, collaborate and learn.

At Kent Street Community Kindergarten, we have 2 kindy groups to choose from, so you can enrol your child in a group that best meets your family's needs.

Kent Street Community Kindergarten also offers an interactive play-based playgroup for families with babies, toddlers and kindy aged children. Set in our natural outdoor environment, we offer a fun, friendly and relaxed playgroup with a regular routine, fully enclosed outdoor play area and a range of organised activities run by a highly experienced educator. The program operates fortnightly in terms 1, 2 and 3 on Wednesdays from 9:00am to 11:00am.
