Shailer Road Community Kindergarten
Welcome to Shailer Road Community Kindergarten. Shailer Road Kindergarten has been established since 1991 and is positioned next to a natural bushland reserve in Shailer Park. Our air conditioned centre has a large outdoor play space at the front and our classrooms are complimented by wide covered verandas on both sides. We are a double-unit centre which operates three alternative kindergarten programs. We also offer a weekly pre-kindergarten class for children aged 3 years. Our kindergarten is committed to the development of a love of life-long learning within each person who enters it, through providing quality early childhood education and reflective practice in a caring, fun, safe environment.
As an affiliated centre of C&K, Shailer Road kindy receives support from C&K as the Central Governing Body but operates as an independent incorporated association, managed by a volunteer management committee. Sandgate Kids kindy has been serving the local community since 1967. We offer a Government Approved Kindergarten Funded Program in a variety of flexible enrolment options. Our passionate teachers and teaching assistants are highly qualified and experienced. They are experts in teaching children from three to five years and establish a love of life-long learning. Our purpose-built building and expansive outdoor play spaces are designed to nurture children’s development in a caring community environment. Children have the stability of the same teachers and the same children attending kindy every day of their attendance. This allows us to offer continuity and extension of learning for each child, from one day to the next.
