Our Kindergarten is a hidden gem! Tucked away on 2000sqm of land is a beautiful, natural, expansive playgroup where children can enjoy being children. This adventure playground is truly magical and plays a key role in our play-based curriculum allowing exploration, physical and social development. Our varied activities help children to develop emotionally, physically and academically.

Through vaired activities the children develop emotionally and physically. We achieve this by participating in activities and incursions both in and outdoors. These include

  • Outdoor play
  • Language
  • Music, movement & dance
  • History
  • Art experiences
  • Incursions

All C&K kindergartens feature our quality C&K kindergarten program.

Kindergarten, also known as pre-prep or preschool, is a program for children in the year before they attend school. If spaces are available, the program is also offered to 3-year olds. C&K’s kindergarten programs are guided by university-qualified teachers and support children’s curiosity, creativity, and resilience.

At C&K we know that children do not learn in isolation, so we approach learning as a collaborative relationship between teachers, children and parents. At C&K we believe children are powerful learners, active citizens, thinkers and theorisers - this is at the heart of our early childhood curriculum. We've designed our indoor and outdoor spaces to ignite imaginations and nurture healthy minds and bodies.

There will be a half-hour overlap between the core kindergarten program lead and the extended program lead educator each day. Educators will share highlights and continuing plans for the day.

The extended program continues children’s learning into the afternoon and is led by a diploma-qualified educator and supported by an assistant educator. The extended program team will also have access to an Early Childhood Teacher.

Your child’s learning journey is shared with you via  conversations with your child’s educators, through written documentation and through StoryPark (an app and website).
