Welcome

Welcome to C&K Robinson Road Childcare Centre. The centre opened in June 2021, with a new purpose-built facility designed in collaboration with educators and architects, to create inviting spaces for children to explore, discover, learn and play.  C&K Robinson Road Childcare Centre welcomes children from 6 weeks of age to 5 years old. As a home away from home, our environment provides feelings of being safe, secure and supported while in the care of our qualified educators.

About our centre

C&K Robinson Road Childcare Centres is located on Robinson Road West, Geebung in Brisbane's North.  Conveniently situated near bus and train routes with easy parking and access off Fisher Parade, this new early learning centre has been designed in collaboration with educators and architects, to create inviting spaces for children to explore, discover, learn and play.

With both age-based rooms and communal learning spaces, siblings and children of all ages can come together to learn and play. This is a place where your child will belong, feel safe and make friends.

Our open-ended resources will spark your child’s imagination and are perfectly designed for their age and stage of development. Our education program is drawn from C&K’s early childhood curriculum approach.  In the year before school, university-qualified teachers guide and support children to be curious, capable and collaborative learners.  For our infants and toddlers, our philosophy is centred around "slowing down". We take time to be with your child as they explore the world. Read more about our education program.

Child-Led Learning

No two days are the same at C&K Robinson Road. Each day’s learning is driven by the interests and ideas of the children. The spacious and natural environments within our centre are thoughtfully planned and well resourced, with opportunities to meet the needs and interests of all children who attend. This is achieved through the provision of combined indoor and outdoor play opportunities throughout the day. Play offers children many opportunities to develop friendships, explore, solve problems, help others, imagine, create, and extend on their interests.

Community Spirit

Community spirit is important to us at C&K Robinson Road. We foster strong ties to the local community and encourage parent involvement in the daily operations of the centre. We often hold and partake in community events and love connecting with local businesses and groups around us.

Birth to Three Approach

At C&K we are exploring new approaches for the educators that care for and educate our littlest people at C&K childcare centres. The Birth to Three approach, which we have developed, is all about being in the moment with your child. Our philosophy for this age group is to “slow down” and to slow down some more to allow children the time to learn and discover at their own pace. We are focused on spending one-on-one time with babies and toddlers and developing deep and trusting relationships with each individual child.

C&K has developed a Infant and Toddler approach which informs the way we care for and educate our babies and toddlers. Our philosophy for this age is to “slow down” and be in the moment with your child as they learn and explore the world. We focus on developing a deep and trusting relationship with each child.

All C&K childcare centres feature the quality C&K kindergarten program. Kindergarten, also known as pre-prep or preschool, is a program for children who are turning 4 by June 30 in the year before they attend school. C&K’s kindy programs are guided by University qualified teachers and support children’s curiosity, creativity, problem solving, resilience and real-world knowledge and skills.

At C&K we know that children do not learn in isolation, learning is a collaborative process between teachers, children and parents. The physical indoor and outdoor environment also plays a part. At C&K we believe children are competent and capable learners, and approach our education program with this in mind.

How does C&K decide fees?

As a not-for-profit organisation, C&K reinvests any surplus back into our centres and programs to better achieve outcomes for all children and communities.

We aim to keep fees affordable for families and have developed a fee system to maximise family access to available subsidies. Read more about C&K's fee policies.
