Cooktown Kindergarten
Welcome to C&K Cooktown Kindergarten, a place where play takes centre stage in your child’s education and where children are given time to explore, discover and learn! We pride ourselves on acknowledging and respecting the culture, background and history of each individual child and their family. We want to ensure that each of these individual needs are respected and considered in all aspects of our service. We believe that children learn best through play, and need to develop an understanding and respect for themselves and others.
Our centre has a free bus service that is available to all C&K Cooktown children who do not have transport of their own.
At Cooktown Kindergarten, we have two kindy groups to choose from. All groups ensure children receive the same number of hours of education across the year. The groups have a maximum of 22 children and are led by an experienced and qualified early childhood teacher. We operate during QLD school terms and are closed for school holidays, public holidays and some pupil free days.
