We have been offering quality education and care for pre-prep children over the last 25 years and place great emphasis on creating a warm and caring atmosphere of respect and dignity for children and families. We want your child’s experience to be a positive and fulfilling one.
We know children are competent and capable learners, who can make their own choices, problem solve and explore. Our role is to support this strengths-based approach to achieve the best outcomes for each child. For our families, we work together in partnerships to support and communicate with one another. We value the knowledge and expertise parents have of their child and wide diversity of experiences parents can contribute to the learning program. For our community, connections with and respect for the natural world and all its peoples are essential for children being and becoming active contributors to their communities.
'Where children can be themselves' is our Mission Statement.

Our centre has stimulating indoor and outdoor environments that offer a range of opportunities for children to learn through play. We are a not-for-profit community Kindergarten, operated and managed by volunteers, affiliated with C&K and licensed through the Office of Early Childhood Education and Care. At the start of each year, a committee of parent volunteers are elected at the AGM to manage the centre. We believe that children are competent and capable individuals and their rights are paramount. Our play-based learning provides opportunities for children to explore, solve problems, develop friendships, imagine and create, while also enhancing their language, literacy and numeracy skills.
Outdoor, nature-based connections are highly valued. It is our belief that developing practical, outdoor skills fosters confidence, independence and innovation. The holistic development of all children is supported by educators who observe and facilitate free-play, open exploration and imagination. It is our aim to encourage active involvement in our Kindergarten community. We embrace the sharing of ideas, skills, experiences and resources. The individual rights of each child, family, staff member and volunteer are respected, valued, protected and promoted. By working together, the educators, management and parents can provide a safe, nurturing environment for children to learn and grow to the best of their abilities.
