Collinsville & Scottville Community Kindergarten
Welcome to C&K Collinsville & Scottville Community Kindergarten, where we have been servicing the community for over 50 years. A place where play takes centre stage in your child’s education and where children are given time to explore, discover and learn! We offer a Government Approved Kindergarten Funded Program, and our passionate teachers and teaching assistants are highly qualified and experienced. They are experts in teaching children from three to five years and establish a love of life-long learning. Our purpose-built building and expansive outdoor play spaces are designed to nurture children’s development in a caring community environment.
At C&K Collinsville & Scottville Community Kindergarten, we have one kindy group. The groups have a maximum of 30 children and are led by an experienced and qualified early childhood teacher. We operate during QLD school terms and are closed for school holidays, public holidays and some pupil free days.Your three-year-old child can attend C&K C&K Collinsville & Scottville kindy's high-quality community kindergarten program alongside four-year-olds, pending availability. Attending kindergarten provides learning opportunities for your child in a safe and nurturing environment, including building relationships with teachers and growing their confidence and social skills to engage with other children.As an affiliated centre of C&K, Collinsville & Scottville Community Kindergarten receives support from C&K as the Central Governing Body but operates as an independent incorporated association managed by a volunteer management committee. Centres affiliated with C&K receive comprehensive support in governance, including managing kindergarten and inclusion funding, training for committees and educators, advice and support regarding inclusion, use of the C&K brand, curriculum approach and resource materials.

Cloncurry Kindergarten offers a subsidised pre-kindy program for three-year-olds in term 4, 2024. C&K childcare centres offer high-quality education and care programs. We focus on a unique infant and toddler approach and deliver the approved kindergarten program for 4-year-olds.
C&K Emerald South operates in the rural community of Emerald. The centre is situated on Andrews Road, accessed via the service road adjacent to The Salvation Army Worship and Community Centre.

At C&K Blackwater Community Childcare Centre, we welcome children from 6 weeks of age to 5 years old and provide care and early learning Monday to Friday, with flexible booking options.
We are proud of our spacious natural outdoor learning environment, which has real trees, grass, dirt, leaves, and wildlife such as native birds and possums nesting in the trees. Our nature-based playground inspires challenging and open-ended play where children are provided with uninterrupted time to explore and engage in learning. We respect children as powerful learners, thinkers, theorisers and active citizens.
As a home away from home, our environment provides a safe, secure and supported space for your child. Our dedicated, friendly and qualified staff nurture play-based learning, fostering a lifelong love of learning. Our families love our large natural outdoor area, where we encourage children to explore, discover, play and engage in nature.
We have a wide range of cultural and linguistic backgrounds with our families and staff. This provides us the opportunity to incorporate these cultures and languages throughout the centre. At C&K Capella Early Childhood Centre we operate a kindy group 5 days a fortnight and limited hours care for 2 days. Our kindy group is led by an experienced and qualified early childhood teacher. We operate during QLD school terms and are closed for school holidays, public holidays and some pupil free days.
