Instructions on how to enter and other details contained within promotional advertisements for this competition form part of the conditions of entry.

By entering the competition, entrants agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.

Eligibility

This competition is open only to Australian residents aged 18 years or older at the time of entry.

Entrants must be eligible to participate under all applicable Australian laws and regulations.

Employees of the Promoter, their immediate family members (including spouses, parents, children, siblings, grandparents, and step-relations), and any agencies associated with this promotion are not eligible to enter.

The total value of each prize is up to $107.26 AUD, comprising:

How to Enter

To enter, an eligible entrant must complete all the following steps during the Promotion Period:

Eligible participants must RSVP to any C&K Open Week event advertised during the Promotion Period.

Entry to the competition is free. Entrants will be responsible for all costs associated with entering the competition, which may include costs associated with accessing the internet. The Promoter will not charge entrants for entry, including via premium SMS, telephone services, or other paid entry mechanisms.

Use of Submission and Content Guidelines

By entering this competition, entrants grant the Promoter a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, and display submitted content for promotional, marketing, and commercial purposes without further consent or payment.

The Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to remove or disqualify any entry that it deems offensive, inappropriate, defamatory, discriminatory, or in violation of any applicable law.

Participants must not include sensitive personal information in their submissions.

Maximum Number of Entries

One (1) entry per eligible entrant.

Prize Draw

Winners will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries conducted in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. The draw process will be fair and impartial.

Winners are declared at the Promoter’s discretion.

Draw Details

The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

Notification of winners

The winners will be notified via the nominated email address no later than 4:00 PM AEST on the day of the draw.

The Promoter takes no responsibility where it is unable to contact prize winners who have not provided correct or complete contact details, or whose account settings prohibit contact. If an entrant’s contact details change during the promotional period, it is the entrant’s responsibility to notify the Promoter.

Public Announcement

Winners may be announced on the Promoter’s social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn. By entering, winners consent to the use of their first name and/or last initial for promotional purposes.

Collection of Prize

Prize delivery will be communicated directly to winners. Winners will be contacted after draw to provide delivery details.

If a prize remains unclaimed after 3 months, the Promoter will deal with the prize in accordance with the Charitable and Non-Profit Gaming Act 1999 (Qld).

Amendment and Cancellation

The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel this promotion at any time without prior notice.

Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes any rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter’s liability is limited to replacement of the prize or payment of the prize value.

Liability – The Promoter accepts no responsibility and shall not be held legally liable or responsible for any accident, loss, injury or damage to any individual or property, whether direct or indirect, whether in contract tort, negligence or otherwise arising out of or in connection with the competition or prize, either during or after the competition.
  2. No Indirect or Consequential Loss – exclude any liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, including but not limited to loss of income, profits, or opportunity.
  3. Acting in Good Faith – nothing in these terms limits any liability which cannot be excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
  4. Compliance with Australian Consumer Law – to the extent permitted by the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) and other applicable laws, including Queensland state regulations, liability for any implied warranties or guarantees is limited to the replacement of the prize or payment of the prize value, at the discretion of the Promoter.
  5. Social Media Disclaimer – this competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by any social media platform, and entrants release the platform from any liability in connection with the competition.

The Promoter collects personal information to conduct the promotion. All entrants consent to their personal information being collected, stored, and used for this purpose in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy available at: https://www.candk.asn.au/privacy, which forms part of these terms and conditions.

The Promoter will retain records relating to this competition in accordance with applicable laws.

Governing law

The Terms and Conditions of this competition are governed by the laws of the State of Queensland.

This promotion is a promotional game under Queensland law Category 4 (no licence required).
