About our kindy
Welcome to C&K Beaconsfield, where your child will feel safe, make friends and belong. At C&K Beaconsfield we aim to provide a friendly, respectful, caring environment that caters for the needs, interests and uniqueness of children, family, staff and the wider community. Our objective is to provide high quality early childhood education and care through meaningful experiences enabling children to learn as they explore their own interests. We have a strong emphasis on a nature-based pedagogy which encourages children to respect and care for living things, show responsibility for the natural environment and have an awareness of sustainability. We respectfully acknowledge and celebrate all cultures with a strong commitment to including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives into every aspect of our program and practice.
Child-led learning
No two days are the same at C&K Beaconsfield. Our teaching team tailors each day’s learning, taking into account the interests of the children in the group. The spacious and natural environment at our kindy is thoughtfully planned and well resourced. There is a focus on music, drama, literature and visual arts and we allocate plenty of time for outdoor play and discovery.
Community spirit
Community spirit is important to us at C&K Beaconsfield. We foster strong ties to the local community by encouraging parent involvement in the daily operations of the kindergarten. We often hold and partake in community events and love connecting with local businesses and groups around us and taking the children on excursions out into the local community.
