Located on Gubbi Gubbi Country, C&K Mooloolah offers a weekly Nature Kindy program. Children spend time immersed in the natural environment, building a strong connection with nature through exploration, discovery, curiosity and creativity. During the cooler months, we safely incorporate fire experiences as part of our Nature Kindy program.
Our experienced and passionate educators build strong partnerships with families to create a welcoming, inclusive and supportive environment. Through play-based learning, we nurture children's curiosity, resilience, confidence and lifelong love of learning.
Conveniently located on the corner of King Road and Bray Road, our kindergarten is just a five minute walk from Mooloolah State School.
Our spring holiday program commences on 21 September and will operate throughout the Queensland School Holidays to 2 October.

All our kindergartens deliver C&K's quality kindergarten program. Kindergarten, also known as pre-prep or preschool, is a program for children who are turning 4 by June 30 in the year before they attend school. C&K’s kindy programs are government-approved and led by experienced and university qualified teachers. Our program supports children’s curiosity, creativity, problem solving, resilience and real-world knowledge and skills.
At C&K, we know that children do not learn in isolation, so we approach learning as a collaborative relationship between teachers, educators, children and families. We believe children are powerful learners, active citizens, thinkers and theorisers - this is at the heart of our early childhood curriculum. We've designed our indoor and outdoor spaces to ignite imaginations and nurture healthy minds and bodies. Learning through play is an integral part of our education program. Our educators skilfully enrich and extend children's play experiences, creating a learning program that is tailored and meaningful for your child.
C&K's Kindergartens with Extended Hours offer continued learning after the kindergarten program ends for the day. The extended hours program is led by a diploma-qualified educator and supported by an assistant educator. There is a half-hour overlap between the kindergarten program lead educator and the extended program lead educator each day. Educators will share highlights and continuing plans for the day.
Your child’s learning journey is shared with you via conversations with your child’s educators, through written documentation and through Storypark (an app and website).
Enrolment Fee: The enrolment fee is a one-off, non-refundable fee payable when you confirm your child’s enrolment. Some families may be exempt from paying the enrolment fee.
Child Care Subsidy: The Australian Government helps eligible families with the cost of childcare via the Child Care Subsidy (CCS). For more information, please visit Services Australia. If you are eligible for CCS, your daily fee will be reduced by your eligible CCS rate. Please email us for a quote.
Queensland Kindergarten Funding: The Queensland Government also provides funding for eligible-aged children (children turning 4 by 30 June, in the year they attend a kindy program), attending a centre delivering a government-approved kindergarten program. If eligible, you could receive up to 15 hours of Free Kindy per week for 40 weeks.
At this centre, the daily fee for the extended hours and holiday programs are optional. Free Kindy is applied during the 4 school terms. The subsidy does not apply to the extended hours portion of the day or during the holiday program. Eligible families can continue to claim CCS for these times.
