Am I eligible for the Kindy Plus or Family Tax Benefit subsidy?
Subsidies are funded by the Queensland and Australian governments. All children of eligible age (turning at least 4 by June 30 in the year they attend kindy) are eligible for a subsidy of $1,500 per year.
Please visit the Kindy savings website and select sessional kindy for Step 1 to check your eligibility for the Kindy Plus and Family Tax Benefit subsidy.
You will need to show proof of your eligibility when you enrol, which will differ depending on the subsidy you are eligible for.
What if I want my 3 year old to go to kindergarten?
Priority is given to eligible-aged children but if there are places available, we are happy to have 3 year old children at kindy and attend for 2 years. The subsidies do not apply for 3 year old children, and the non-eligible enrolment kindergarten fee will apply. Please contact us on 07 4758 1168 for more information on fees for 3 year olds and to discuss your child and your family’s situation.
I have more questions. Who can I talk to?
As a not-for-profit, we aim to keep fees affordable for families and have developed a fee system to maximise family access to available subsidies. Please visit our Kindergarten Fees Frequently Asked Questions page for more information. You can also read more about C&K’s fee policy here.
