Kuranda Community Kindergarten
At Kuranda Community Kindergarten, your child will feel safe, make friends and belong.
We have a large outdoor setting with lots of trees, a stream and two sandpits. Our kindy room is always open to the outdoors with large windows and four large sliding doors. At our kindy, we celebrate uniqueness, kindness, and working together.
Our language and culture program is woven into everything we do at Kuranda Kindy. We explore many languages, including Djabugay, sign language, and the many different languages and cultures of the families whose children attend our kindy.
Our staff all live in Kuranda and love working at the Kuranda Kindy. We are located in a quiet area next to Kuranda Community Precinct (old school) in the rainforest village of Kuranda.
We have two program groups to choose from, so you can enrol your child in a group that best meets your family's needs. We provide early learning for children aged 3 1/2 years to 5 1/2 years old.

C&K Hughenden Kindergarten & Early Childhood Centre
C&K Hughenden Kindergarten and Early Childhood Centre is a small rural community centre, four hours drive west of Townsville. We welcome children from 6 weeks of age to 5 years old and provide care and early learning five days a week.
C&K childcare centres offer quality education and care programs where we focus on a unique infant and toddler approach, as well as delivering a 5 day fortnight kindergarten program for 4 year olds. Our kindy program is guided by a university qualified teacher and supports children to be curious, capable, and collaborative learners in the year before school.
As a home away from home, our environment provides feelings of being safe, secure and supported while in the care of our qualified educators. At C&K we support our team to nurture play-based learning, develop caring relationships with children and our families, and foster a lifelong love of learning with every child in our care.
George Bowen Memorial Kindergarten
At George Bowen Memorial Community Kindergarten, we pride ourselves in acknowledging and respecting the culture, background and history of each individual child and their families. We want to ensure that each of these individual needs are respected and considered in all aspects of our service. We believe that children learn best through play and need to develop an understanding and respect for themselves and others.
At George Bowen Memorial Community Kindergarten, we offer a 5 day fortnight kindergarten program. Our centre has a free bus service that is available to all George Bowen Memorial Community Kindergarten children who require transport to and from the centre.

Welcome to Gordonvale Community Kindergarten. The kindergarten was built by the community of Gordonvale and officially opened on 31st August, 1971. Our goal at kindy is to learn through play. We promote a child initiated, child directed, and adult supported play based program.

At Gordonvale Kindy, we believe a positive and open relationship with families is vital in providing a positive experience for your child; therefore, we will work together with families to provide an environment in which your child will feel comfortable and safe.

Our mission at Estelle Cardiff Community Kindergarten is to provide children with a play enriched environment and build partnerships with families and the community. We strive for high quality early childhood education and care where we support children to become life-long learners.
At Estelle Cardiff Community Kindergarten, we have two kindy groups to choose from. All groups ensure children receive the same number of hours of education across the year. The groups have a maximum of 22 children and are led by an experienced and qualified early childhood teacher. We operate during QLD school terms and are closed for school holidays, public holidays and some pupil free days.
Estelle Cardiff Community Kindergarten offers a subsidised pre-kindy program for three-year-olds in term 4, 2024. To be eligible for this program, children need to have turned three by 30 June 2024.Your three-year-old child can attend Estelle Cardiff kindy's high-quality community kindergarten program alongside four-year-olds. Attending kindergarten provides learning opportunities for your child in a safe and nurturing environment, including building relationships with teachers and growing their confidence and social skills to engage with other children.
Eileen Fisher Memorial Community Kindergarten
Welcome to Eileen Fisher Memorial Kindergarten. A place where play takes centre stage in your child’s education and where children are given time to explore, discover and learn! Eileen Fisher Memorial Kindergarten is a licensed early childhood centre affiliated with the Creche & Kindergarten Association of Queensland located in Mount Isa. The centre is also registered with the Queensland Kindergarten Funding Scheme as a Kindergarten Program Provider (KPP). The centre offers two, five-day fortnight kindergarten programs. Each program runs from 8.30am to 2.50pm, with each group consisting of 22 children who attend on Monday, Tuesday, and alternate Wednesdays or alternate Wednesdays, Thursday, and Friday.
When children enter an early childhood setting, they bring with them a rich variety of cultural and social backgrounds and experiences. This Centre recognises the individuality of each child and family and observes a policy of acceptance, regardless of race, creed, gender, disability, class or culture. This centre actively promotes conservation and encourages children and families to protect the environment. Native animals and insects are treated with care and are allowed to remain free for children to observe. Care of the environment is fostered among children and adults.
