At Wavell Heights Kindergarten, we have four kindy groups to choose from. The groups have a maximum of 22 children and are led by an experienced and qualified early childhood teacher. We operate during QLD school terms and are closed for school holidays, public holidays and some pupil free days.

As an affiliated centre of C&K, Wavell Heights receives support from C&K as the Central Governing Body but operates as an independent incorporated association managed by a volunteer management committee. Centres affiliated with C&K receive comprehensive support in governance, including managing kindergarten and inclusion funding, training for committees and educators, advice and support regarding inclusion, use of the C&K brand, curriculum approach and resource materials.

Wandoan and District Kindergarten offers a subsidised pre-kindy program for three-year-olds in term 4, 2024. To be eligible for this program, children need to have turned three by 30 June 2024.

Your three-year-old child can attend Wandoan and District kindy's high-quality community kindergarten program alongside four-year-olds. Attending kindergarten provides learning opportunities for your child in a safe and nurturing environment, including building relationships with teachers and growing their confidence and social skills to engage with other children.

Welcome to Trinity Beach Community Kindergarten. Trinity Beach Kindy is a beautiful spacious timber pole building with large verandas and lots of shady areas for outdoor play. At Trinity Beach Kindy we aim to create an environment that is safe, warm, relaxed and nuturing; ensuring children, their families and educators feel a sense of belonging. Our kindy program incorporates rich learning environments that promote inquiry, choice, independence, confidence, communication and interaction. Outdoor learning environments including nature are valued for their importance in engaging the senses, teaching respectful interactions with the environment, developing problem solving and creative thinking, building connections with nature as well as supporting children's holistic learning and development.

Bush Kindy is an integral part of our kindy program. Trinity Beach Bush Kindy uses a natural outdoor environment to inspire children and offers children opportunities to achieve, develop confidence and a strong sense of well being through hands on learning in nature.

Welcome to Tewantin Community Kindergarten. Nestled on the shores of Lake Doonella, Tewantin Community Kindergarten playground has many large shady trees and beautiful gardens that play host to Tewantin’s abundance of flora and fauna, a perfect environment for young children. The atmosphere is friendly, warm and calm with only one small group of children attending each day. Tewantin Kindergarten is a community-based organisation offering a kindergarten program for children for the year before they are eligible to start school. Tewantin Kindergarten has been an important facility for generations of local families since the 1960’s. Located in the heart of Tewantin, the kindergarten has been continually operating our of the current building since 1965 when it became the permanent home for the Kindy and all it’s children.

St Lucia Kindergarten

Welcome to St Lucia Kindergarten. We are located opposite Ironside State School and very close to the University of Queensland. Our centre offers educational programs for children aged 3 to 5 and may have 22 children enrolled in each group. The program offered by the kindergarten is designed and implemented by teachers who have university qualifications in Early Childhood Education. We offer a safe, secure and fun environment for your child to play, grow and learn. At St Lucia Kindy, we believe a positive and open relationship with families is vital in providing a positive experience for your child; therefore, we will work together with families to provide an environment in which your child will feel comfortable and safe. We provide a place of learning and care where your child has access to active, play-based learning and developmentally appropriate resources. We have a strong emphasis on children engaging with the environment and being able to exercise choices that match their interests and capabilities.

At St Lucia Kindergarten, we have 4 kindy groups to choose from, so you can enrol your child in a group that best meets your family's needs. Our 3 day a week kindy programs also offer extended hours (after kindy care) until 5:30pm (additional fees apply). Fees also include a kindy sheet set and a library bag.

At Rosewood and District Community Kindergarten, we believe that early childhood is a critical learning period in children’s lives and that play is the essential learning vehicle to explore, problem solve, develop friendships, imagine and extend capabilities. The Rosewood and District Community Kindergarten has proudly stood on the site of 54 John Street since its opening in 1963. Early in the 1950’s, Rosewood Shire Council became amalgamated with Moreton Shire Council.
