As an affiliated centre of C&K, Strathpine Community Kindergarten receives support from C&K as the Central Governing Body but operates as an independent incorporated association managed by a volunteer management committee. Centres affiliated with C&K receive comprehensive support in governance, including managing kindergarten and inclusion funding, training for committees and educators, advice and support regarding inclusion, use of the C&K brand, curriculum approach and resource materials.

Tewantin Community Kindergarten

Tewantin Community Kindergarten

Welcome to Tewantin Community Kindergarten. Nestled on the shores of Lake Doonella, Tewantin Community Kindergarten playground has many large shady trees and beautiful gardens that play host to Tewantin’s abundance of flora and fauna, a perfect environment for young children. The atmosphere is friendly, warm and calm with only one small group of children attending each day. Tewantin Kindergarten is a community-based organisation offering a kindergarten program for children for the year before they are eligible to start school. Tewantin Kindergarten has been an important facility for generations of local families since the 1960’s. Located in the heart of Tewantin, the kindergarten has been continually operating our of the current building since 1965 when it became the permanent home for the Kindy and all it’s children.

At Tewantin Community Kindergarten, we have two kindy groups to choose from. All groups ensure children receive the same number of hours of education across the year. The groups have a maximum of 22 children and are led by an experienced and qualified early childhood teacher. We operate during QLD school terms and are closed for school holidays, public holidays and some pupil free days.

St Lucia Kindergarten

St Lucia Kindergarten

Welcome to St Lucia Kindergarten. More information can be found on our main website, where you can also join our Waiting List.

We are located opposite Ironside State School and very close to the University of Queensland. Our service offers educational programs for children aged 3 to 5 and may have 22 children enrolled in each group.

At St Lucia Kindergarten, we believe that children learn best when they are engaged in active, child-led play.

Our teachers and educators provide varied opportunities for learning through an inviting, yet challenging, environment in our well-resourced classrooms and large natural outdoor areas.

Our key focus is building secure and respectful relationships with all children and families. We are proud to have such a wonderful diverse community and celebrate the many cultures and languages of our families.

Welcome to Raceview Congregational Kindergarten. The Kindergarten is part of the Raceview Congregational Church which has been serving the Raceview and Ipswich community for over a 150 years. As a community Kindergarten it has its own operations committee which includes members of staff and members of Kindy families. As part of the church community, however, our Kindy families also have access to various support networks and other children and family activities.

The Kindy operates within the core values of the church in that we aim to ensure that every child and Kindy family will feel safe, cared for, loved, valued, nurtured and supported while a part of the Kindy community.
