C&K Rowes Bay Community Kindergarten
At C&K Rowes Bay Community Kindergarten your child will feel safe, make friends and belong. We help your child create a lifelong love of learning and support their transition into school.
C&K Rowes Bay is more than 50 years old, and overlooks the Coral Sea and Magnetic Island. We have beautiful, large landscaped gardens providing an open natural learning environment where the children explore, investigate, and extend their learning. Our indoor space fosters child-led experiences and provides many different and inspiring opportunities to play and learn.
Parents and guardians are an integral part of our community and are always welcome to contribute to the educational program. Our young children are capable thinkers, investigators and inquirers. They come to kindergarten with a range of prior experiences and understanding of the world around them.
Our experienced and passionate educators foster close relationships with families, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive environment. They focus on nurturing your child's curiosity, building their resilience and developing their confidence - all through the joy of learning through play.
At C&K Rowes Bay, we provide an extended hours program until 6pm and a holiday program during Queensland school holidays. These programs are included in your daily fee. We have a 5 days a fortnight (2 groups) or a 5 days a week program to choose from.

C&K Rowes Bay is located in on Heatleys Parade in Rowes Bay across the road from Soroptimist Park and 10 minutes drive from the Townsville city centre.
C&K Sunset Community Kindergarten
At C&K Sunset Community Kindergarten, your child will feel safe, make friends and belong. We have an open natural learning environment where the children explore, investigate, and extend their learning.
At C&K Sunset, we have two kindy groups to choose from. The two groups ensure children receive the same number of hours of education across the year. The group has a maximum of 22 children and are led by an experienced and qualified early childhood teacher. We operate during QLD school terms and are closed for school holidays, public holidays and some pupil free days.C&K Sunset Community Kindergarten offers a subsidised pre-kindy program for three-year-olds in term 4, 2024. To be eligible for this program, children need to have turned three by 30 June 2024.Your three-year-old child can attend C&K Sunset's high-quality community kindergarten program alongside four-year-olds. Attending kindergarten provides learning opportunities for your child in a safe and nurturing environment, including building relationships with teachers and growing their confidence and social skills to engage with other children.
C&K Sunset is located on Hercules Road, Sunset, a 5 minute drive from Mount Isa City on the grounds of Sunset State School.
C&K Oonoonba Community Kindergarten

At C&K Oonoonba, we have two kindy groups to choose from. The two groups ensure children receive the same number of hours of education across the year. C&K Oonoonba is located on Lakeland Boulevard, Idalia, approximately 7 kilometres south of Townsville City. Access to the kindergarten is via the Oonoonba State School carpark with gates located on Lakeland Boulevard.
C&K Mount Louisa Community Kindergarten
