Eligibility:
This competition is open only to Queensland residents aged 18 years or older at the time of entry. Employees, directors, officers and contractors of C&K, and their immediate family members, are not eligible to enter. Immediate family includes spouses or de facto partners, parents, children, siblings, grandparents, step-relations and any person living in the same household.

 Prize Details:     
1 x family pass (4x tickets) to see Into Space at either 11am or 6pm AEST (winner’s choice) on Friday 25 September 2026 at the Empire Theatre (54-56 Neil Street, Toowoomba, Queensland).

How to Enter:    
To enter, an eligible entrant must complete the following actions:    

• Follow C&K on Facebook and/or Instagram 
• Post a comment telling us ‘If you had a rocket parked in your backyard, where would you blast off to?’ 
• Tag a friend 

Use of Submission and Content Guidelines 

By submitting a comment in this competition, you grant C&K a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, and display your submission for promotional, marketing, and commercial purposes in any media without further consent or payment. 

Entrants must ensure their response is appropriate, respectful, suitable for a family audience and relevant to the competition prompt. C&K reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to remove or disqualify any submission that it deems, in its opinion, to be offensive, inappropriate, unsafe, defamatory, discriminatory, unlawful, misleading, threatening, abusive, obscene, spam, or otherwise inconsistent with C&K’s values or the spirit of this competition.

Participants must not include any personal information in their submissions.

Prize Draw:
One winner will be drawn at random from all eligible entries at 2:00 PM AEST on Wednesday 16 September 2026. Each eligible entry will have an equal chance of winning. The draw will be conducted by C&K in a fair and transparent manner. C&K may draw one or more reserve entries at the same time, in order, to be used only if the original winner is ineligible, cannot be contacted, does not accept the prize by the required deadline, or otherwise forfeits the prize under these terms.

Location of draw:    
The competition will be drawn at the C&K Central Office, 257 Gympie Road, Kedron 4031 on Wednesday 16 September 2026, at 2:00PM AEST.     

Notification of winner:
The winner will be notified via Facebook and/or Instagram messenger, if account settings allow, and by announcement on the original Facebook and Instagram competition posts no later than 4:00 PM AEST on Wednesday 16 September 2026. The winner must respond to C&K by 9:00 AM AEST on Monday 21 September 2026 to confirm acceptance of the prize and their preferred show time. If the winner does not respond by that time, is ineligible, cannot be contacted, or declines the prize, the prize will be forfeited and C&K may redraw the prize in accordance with these terms.

C&K takes no responsibility where it is unable to contact prize winners who have not provided correct or complete contact details, or whose account settings prohibit contact. If an entrant’s contact details change during the promotional period, it is the entrant’s responsibility to notify C&K. 

Redraw of unclaimed prize:
If required, C&K will redraw the prize at random from the remaining eligible entries, or award the prize to the first valid reserve entry drawn, at 10:00 AM AEST on Monday 21 September 2026 at C&K Central Office, 257 Gympie Road, Kedron QLD 4031. The redrawn winner will be contacted by 12:00 PM AEST on Monday 21 September 2026 via Facebook and/or Instagram messenger, if account settings allow, and may also be announced on the original Facebook and Instagram competition posts. The redrawn winner must respond to C&K by 12:00 PM AEST on Thursday 24 September 2026 to confirm acceptance of the prize and their preferred show time.

If the redrawn winner does not respond by 12:00 PM AEST on Thursday 24 September 2026, is ineligible, cannot be contacted, or declines the prize, C&K may treat the prize as forfeited. Due to the event timing, C&K may then allocate the 11:00 AM show tickets on Friday 25 September 2026 to a randomly selected eligible family attending THRIVE Festival, provided the allocation is made fairly, without favouritism, and in a manner that is consistent with the promotional purpose and these terms.

Public Announcement of winners:     
The winner of this competition will be publicly announced on C&K’s social media channels. By entering, the winner consents to the use of their username being tagged for the purpose of announcing and promoting the competition. No other personal information will be used without the winner’s prior consent. 

Collection of Prize 

The Prize is to be collected by the winner at the Empire Theatre Box Office (54-56 Neil Street, Toowoomba, Queensland) on the day of the show. 

The Prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. The Prize includes only the items specified (e.g. family pass to the show) and does not cover any additional costs, such as travel, accommodation, or other expenses. 

In the event that the show is cancelled, no compensation or alternative prize will be provided, and the promoter’s liability is limited to the prize as stated. 

Amendment and Cancellation

C&K may amend, suspend or cancel this promotion if circumstances arise that are beyond its reasonable control, or if necessary to ensure the promotion is conducted fairly, lawfully and in accordance with these terms. C&K will not make any change that unfairly disadvantages entrants who have already entered, except where required by law or necessary to address fraud, technical failure, platform disruption or another issue affecting the integrity of the promotion.

Limitation of Liability 

To the extent permitted by law, C&K and its directors, officers, employees and agents are not responsible for any loss, damage, injury, delay or claim that arises from or in connection with this competition, including:

• entering or participating in the competition;
• any technical issue, malfunction, delay or interruption affecting social media platforms, internet access, electronic devices or entry submissions;
• incorrect, incomplete, unavailable or changed entrant contact details;
• any delay, loss or failure in C&K receiving an entry, response or winner acceptance;
• the acts or omissions of any third party; or
• the acceptance, collection, use or misuse of the prize.

C&K is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including loss of income, profit, opportunity or savings, except to the extent that such liability cannot be excluded by law.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights, guarantees, warranties or remedies that cannot be excluded, restricted or modified under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law.

Where C&K’s liability cannot be excluded, C&K’s liability is limited to the minimum extent permitted by law, including, where permitted, replacement of the prize or payment of the prize value.

This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram or any other social media platform. Entrants release those platforms from any liability connected with the competition, to the extent permitted by law.

Privacy Data Collection Notice 

C&K collects personal information to conduct the promotion. All entrants consent to their personal information being collected, stored, and used for this purpose in accordance with C&K’s Privacy Policy which forms part of these terms and conditions.
