Welcome to Yeronga Park Community Kindergarten. A place where play takes centre stage in your child’s education and where children are given time to explore, discover and learn! Yeronga Park Kindergarten was established in 1950 and is a community run, not-for-profit kindergarten managed by the parents of children attending the centre. We believe children are unique, capable individuals with their own story to tell. We are committed to providing children with a stimulating, natural environment. We value time in nature and advocate its importance in young children’s lives.

Our Kindy grounds often elicit a response from visiting families. They are shady and spacious and include a wonderful treehouse, sandpit, and covered play areas with landscaped gardens built to entice little gardeners and imaginative minds. Our chickens love their enormous enclosure and the children who help care for them. YPK is an extremely well-resourced centre providing kindy the way it’s meant to be, play based and child lead. Our staff are experienced, nurturing, and innovative. They have welcomed generations of children and their families to the kindy. We invite you to come and visit us and see our wonderful kindy environment for yourself.

At Yeronga Park Kindergarten, we have four program groups to choose from, so you can enrol your child in a group that best meets your family's needs.

As an affiliated centre of C&K, Yeronga Park receives support from C&K as the Central Governing Body but operates as an independent incorporated association managed by a volunteer management committee. Centres affiliated with C&K receive comprehensive support in governance, including managing kindergarten and inclusion funding, training for committees and educators, advice and support regarding inclusion, use of the C&K brand, curriculum approach and resource materials.
